about me
I’ve been fascinated by all things creative and business as far back as I remember. Once I got to college at UNG (University of North Georgia) I knew I wanted to find a way to merge the creative and business studies, so a degree in Art Marketing made that possible. I was able to concentrate on graphic design courses where I learned to use the tools I now use everyday and marketing courses to teach me how to apply those creative tools to business and advertising.
In 2012 I branched out and began working on my first website, fully self-taught. I pored over hours and hours of tutorials and online training lessons until I figured out how to make things work like I envisioned. From there I continued learning and experimenting with different website platforms until I found my favorite niche, the Shopify platform and e-commerce websites.
In my freelance career I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing business owners, from small local businesses to massive government agencies. Each project I’ve undertaken has proved exciting and has had it’s own challenges to overcome! I enjoy working on creative challenges and creating creative pieces that bring the vision of others to life, no matter the scope or scale of the project.
When I’m not working creatively I am spending time with my husband or daughter, spending time outside (especially camping!), or hanging out with our friends and family. I have a heart for mission work and adoption and believe that we should help others whenever we can. I love NCAA basketball, bonfires, and 90’s era music and movies!
